Weddings

  • These individuals walk through a couples wedding planning (for the church service and pre-marital counseling) from the beginning.  They ensure counseling sessions are scheduled and kept; spend time with the couple to be able to accommodate their ceremony; ensure the Pastor is scheduled, as well as musicians and technical needs are taken care of and spend  the day of the ceremony with the couple, until the service ends and everything is put away.

  • These individuals would be scheduled to assist the lead on the day of the wedding. The tasks include all of the organization of the physical wedding location (worship center, chapel or perhaps offsite), helping the Pastor in needed, ensuring the musicians/tech needs are met & ready, and that every flows as smoothly as possible.

  • These individuals are on site the day of the wedding to direct guests, help pass out programs if needed, run errands if they come up and take direction from the Coordinator and/or Assistant.

Funerals

  • These individuals are ready to be able to help throughout the year as funerals are not something that are typically planned in advance. They would walk with the Women’s Ministry Director through an initial meeting with the family and then be assigned specific tasks to ensure the family is cared for and the deceased is honored well. Tasks will include completing a wedding program, being a liaison between the family and our technical team, and other tasks assigned to them.

  • These individuals are on site the day of the funeral to direct guests, help pass out programs if needed, run errands if they come up and take direction from the Women’s Ministry Director and/or Funeral Assistant.
